Source of financing: The project is co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) through the Technical Assistance Program (PAT) 2021-2027.
Implementation period: 24 months, respectively from 01.02.2024 to 31.01.2026.
Total value of the project: 6,000,000.00 lei, of which the eligible non-reimbursable value from ESF+ is 3,158,801.69, and the value of the beneficiary's eligible co-financing is 2,841,198.31 lei.

The project aims to:

• Continuously develop the skills of staff in the coordination, management and control system, in order to manage and implement projects with European funding in conditions of efficiency, effectiveness and compliance.

Project objectives:

• Specific objective 1 is represented by the development of the skills of the staff in the coordination, management and control system regarding risk management in projects related to the 2021-2027 programming period
• Specific objective 2 is represented by the development of the skills of the staff in the coordination, management and control system regarding project management related to the 2021-2027 programming period

Main project activities:

Training sessions structured in 4 modules will be organized and carried out as follows:

Module 1 Prevention of irregularities and fraud in externally funded projects - incompatibilities / conflicts of interest / application of financial corrections in European projects financed in the 2021-2027 programming period, is addressed to approximately 100 people within the coordination, management and control structures of European funds.

Module 2 Management and protection of personal data in externally funded projects, including from a digitalization perspective is addressed to approximately 60 people within the coordination, management and control structures of European funds.

Module 3 Risk management in the public procurement process related to projects and programs financed from European funds is addressed to approximately 140 people within the coordination, management and control structures of European funds.

Module 4 The implementation framework of European funds for the 2021-2027 programming period – project management, administration and auditing, equal opportunities, inclusion and sustainable development is addressed to approximately 200 people within the coordination, management and control structures of European funds.

The project is addressed to a target group of approximately 500 people, from the coordination, management and control structures of European funds, namely people from the Ministry of Investments and European Projects - horizontal structures, MA PAT, MA Health, MA Sustainable Development, MA Smart Growth, Digitalization and Financial Instruments, the Court of Accounts - Audit Authority, the Ministry of Finance - Certification and Payment Authority, without limiting ourselves to these.
In order to support the implementation of the basic activity in identifying the indicative theme of the training modules, the institutions from the target group of the project were consulted.

The indirect beneficiaries of this project are the institutions/public authorities of which the participants are part, the knowledge and skills acquired by them being used in the activity carried out by the participants within these institutions/public authorities as a multiplication effect of the acquired good practices.

Expected results of the project:
• 4 training modules organized and carried out;
• 25 training sessions implemented;
• 2 promotional events organized;
• promotional materials purchased and disseminated.
